About the Marketing Coordinator position:
The Marketing Coordinator will provide a variety of support services to assist with various clients. This opportunity will allow you to gain insight into a wealth of different marketing, communications, event planning and advertising strategies, as well as enable a hands-on experience to develop strategic recommendations that will contribute to long term growth and competitive differentiation for our clients.
Key roles and responsibilities can include, but are not limited to: research and development of key content topics specific to industries and/or areas of specialty (healthcare, retail, health/fitness, etc.); authoring of content, to include blog posts, press releases, website copy, social media posts, articles, etc.; market research focused around key areas of opportunity and growth potential for services and/or product offerings; competitive SWOT research and analysis; client administrative duties and overall project management; research and submission of industry-specific awards and/or recognitions for Flourish; development of graphic assets, to include brochures, rack cards, business card templates, flyers, infographics and/or other marketing materials; development and/or support in creating strategic promotional campaigns that will be used to drive brand awareness, lead conversion and increased revenue; collaboration and/or development of strategic partnership initiatives that can be beneficial to the overall client growth path.
This role is Huntsville, AL.
Key skill sets required of this position include:
At least 3-5 years working in a marketing and/or communications type role
Strong writing skills
Graphic design skills and ability to create marketing collateral such as brochures, rack cards, business cards, social media graphics, etc. (using tools such as Adobe, Canva, etc)
Development of social media content, implementation of content and ongoing analysis of data metrics to refine social strategies (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Basic understanding of Google Analytics and how to enhance overall online presence
Working knowledge of SEO & SEM optimization strategies and implementation
Ability to manage small to medium sized marketing campaigns, to include tasks such as project management, critical thinking, content strategy and creativity; development of press releases, web copy and/or collateral copy; client communication and ability to brainstorm strategically based on client needs
Working knowledge of email marketing tools and oversight of campaigns, to include platforms such as MailChimp, Constant Contact, Mailerlite, etc.
No outside travel of the Huntsville/Madison area is expected at this time
Ideal candidate would also have:
Working knowledge of web CMS platforms, to include Wix, SquareSpace, GoDaddy and Wordpress
In addition, we are seeking a candidate who holds themselves to a high standard of quality in both the way they present themselves and the level of work that is produced. A timely, efficient and resourceful use of time dedicated to Flourish is expected. This is a full-time role that offers a 401K plan; however no medical benefits are provided at this time.
Compensation for this position will be negotiated based on skillset.
