Ethan joined Flourish in the fall of 2021 after leaving a decorated career in TV news. Originally from Oregon, Ethan worked for local news stations in Montana, Ohio, and Alabama as a reporter and anchor. An award-winning storyteller, Ethan has spent a significant time on the frontlines covering severe weather events, mass shootings, true crime court cases, politics, and most recently the pandemic and its many impacts on communities.

Ethan and his wife Stefanie quickly fell in love with North Alabama and subsequently put down roots after bouncing around the country for the last decade. In his spare time, you’ll find Ethan at the local animal shelter or in his backyard tending to his chickens.
