Scenario

John Francis and Ross Hickey, the team behind the renovation and restoration efforts of the Quietdale Estate located in North Huntsville, requested Flourish’s assistance in the branding efforts behind the new venue entering the Huntsville market. Since 1854, Quietdale served as a residential home in the Madison County area. Fast forward to 2021, the new owners had a vision of turning this historical home into a one of a kind venue and a place for creating timeless memories. The duo tasked our team with revamping their dated logo. Our goal was to create an updated logo and overall branding strategy that encompassed the most important elements of Quietdale.

Solution

Our team worked extensively with our creative department to create a branding strategy that encompassed the most important aspects of the Quietdale Estate that would intrigue modern brides and embrace a sense of timelessness. Every aspect of the logo was an intentional tribute to Quietdale’s history. The recommended and approved logo embraced a romantic script for Quietdale, a traditional-themed font emphasizing that Quietdale is an for-profit estate, and paid homage to its history by dating the logo. Additionally, we created a simplified version of the logo as an emblem. This thumbnail logo celebrates the estate’s original owner’s love for daffodils; hence the logo’s hand drawn floral arrangement.
